An exemption due to recent severe storms and flooding will allow hot food, and other food intended to be consumed on CalFresh (SNAP) food retailers' premises, to be purchased with CalFresh benefits. The special rules are in effect through May 2 in counties particularly affected by the storms, including Santa Barbara County.
